Chiropractic Adjustment
Precise manual adjustment of the spine and joints to restore motion where things have locked up. Technique and force are matched to your age, build and comfort — gentler mobilisation is always an option.
Now booking — limited weekly schedule
Krpan Margaret DC has spent a career doing one thing well: listening first, then adjusting. No packages, no pressure — just focused hands-on care for backs, necks and the everyday aches that stop you moving the way you want to.
Services
Every visit starts with a conversation and an exam, not an assumption. Treatment is manual chiropractic care, adapted to how your body actually responds.
Precise manual adjustment of the spine and joints to restore motion where things have locked up. Technique and force are matched to your age, build and comfort — gentler mobilisation is always an option.
For the ache that won't settle and the leg pain that follows it. Care focuses on the lumbar spine, pelvis and hips, with simple guidance on sitting, lifting and sleeping so you stop re‑triggering it.
Stiff necks, limited turning, and the headaches that start at the base of the skull. Treatment addresses the upper spine and surrounding muscle tension together, because one keeps feeding the other.
If your pain lives at a desk or a steering wheel, the fix has to follow you there. You'll get specific, unfussy changes to your chair, screen, phone habits and a short set of movements worth actually doing.
Collisions on the 170 and 101 rarely hurt on day one. If your neck, shoulders or mid‑back tightened up after a crash, an early exam matters — you'll be told plainly whether imaging or a referral is the better first step.
For long‑standing patients who know their body and want to stay ahead of a flare‑up. Occasional check‑ins, scheduled around your life — not a prepaid plan you have to use up.
Not sure which one fits? Describe it in your own words in the form below — that's genuinely enough to start.
About the practice
Krpan Margaret DC is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic practising in Valley Village. The practice is deliberately small and now runs part-time — which means fewer appointments each week, but far more attention inside each one.
There's no front-desk script here and no upsell. You'll describe what hurts, be examined properly, and hear an honest opinion about whether chiropractic care is likely to help. When something looks like it belongs with a physician, an imaging centre or a physical therapist, you'll be told that instead.
Many patients have been coming for years and now bring their adult children. If that's the kind of care you're looking for — unhurried, familiar, and straight with you — this is a good fit.
Patient experiences
A selection of feedback shared by long-standing patients of the practice.
“I came in barely able to turn my head after months at a laptop. She spent twenty minutes just examining and asking questions before touching anything. Three visits in, I was driving without wincing.”
“My lower back had been going out once a year for a decade. What I appreciated most was being shown how I was lifting my grandson wrong. Nobody had ever bothered to look at that.”
“She told me on the first visit that part of my problem wasn't chiropractic and sent me to my doctor. That honesty is exactly why I've kept coming back for the part she could help with.”
“Gentle is the word. I'm 74 and was nervous about being adjusted at all. She adapted everything to what I could tolerate and explained each step as she went.”
“Rear-ended on the 170 and stiff two days later. I got in the same week, got a clear explanation of what was strained, and didn't get pushed into a twenty-visit plan.”
“Our whole family sees her — my husband for his shoulder, me for headaches. Scheduling takes a little patience because she only works a few days, but it's worth planning around.”
Your first visit
No mystery, no surprise add-ons. A first appointment usually runs about 45 minutes.
Where it hurts, when it started, what makes it worse, and what you've already tried. Bring any prior imaging or reports if you have them handy.
Posture, range of motion, and hands-on assessment of the spine and joints involved — so treatment targets the actual restriction rather than just the sore spot.
You'll hear what's likely going on, roughly how many visits it tends to take, and whether a referral elsewhere would serve you better. Then you decide.
Manual adjustment or gentler mobilisation as appropriate, plus one or two things to do at home. Small, specific, and realistic.
The practice runs three mornings a week and openings fill quickly. Send your details and you'll get a call back to find a time.
